ABS Gear Couplings are designed to handle significant torque loads, offering a high level of performance despite their compact size. These all-metal flexible couplings transmit power through the engagement of the inner intermediate gear and hub gear, ensuring minimal power loss. Power transmission occurs through point contact, involving very little surface area, which allows the coupling to absorb angular, axial, and small parallel misalignments in a double compact unit, while larger parallel misalignments are accommodated in a double unit with a long intermediate shaft.
ABS Gear Couplings are capable of transmitting medium to very large torques, functioning efficiently across a wide range of speeds—from under 100 rpm up to 8000 rpm—when properly lubricated. Manufactured in compliance with AGMA (the international standard) and JIS (Japanese Standard), ABS ensures high-quality performance and adaptability.
